Start with a short question. This guide’s topic is already in your message.
A draft starts the review, not the conclusion
A lease notification does not mean that every step is complete. Set aside time to identify the unit, address and parties before checking the amount. If you manage several properties, open the matching property file so that you are not comparing the draft with another apartment’s agreement.
Ejar’s guide describes each party reviewing and accepting or rejecting the lease, with one party’s approval followed by waiting for the other. Check the status inside the platform rather than treating a draft screenshot or another person’s message as final confirmation of registration.
Review the financial agreement as a whole
Matching the annual rent is only one check. Review the term, start date, instalment frequency, due dates and any other agreed amounts. Make questions precise by naming the field, its displayed value and the point requiring clarification.
For example, the total may match the parties’ discussion while the draft shows a different payment schedule. Clarifying this before approval avoids relying on an expectation that the contract does not reflect. This is an organisational example, not a rule for every lease.
- Do the instalments correspond to the rent and term?
- Are any services and deposit described separately?
- Do the unit description and intended use match the agreement?
- Are maintenance responsibilities and additional terms understood?

Resolve discrepancies before deciding
Collect discrepancies into one clear list and use the agreed communication channel. Editing a downloaded PDF does not update the official contract. Review an updated draft in full, particularly fields connected to the requested change.
Separate a question needing explanation from a clause needing amendment. Identifying the amount and date is more useful than saying that a payment is unclear. Keep relevant correspondence with the lease file, without sharing party information in public groups.
Complete your own approval securely
Access the official channel through your usual trusted route and review the request in your account. Do not share passwords or verification codes or ask someone to approve through your login. Where a representative is involved, confirm their authority and the applicable process.
After taking action, check the contract status and any remaining approvals. Retain the available contract copy and reference. If progress is unclear, gather the request reference and a description for official support rather than creating another request before understanding the existing one.
